Sasha’s Market 63/366

Yesterday I forgot to post my project 366 picture but I did take one so I figure it still counts. We visited a cute little Russian grocery store called Sasha’s. It’s always fun to go to little pockets like that and let the kids take in the sites and differences. When we visit places like that we let the kids choose out some kind of treat. It’s kind of a fun surprise when we can’t read the labels, thankfully we aren’t allergic to any foods.

They had an amazing selection of mushrooms! I brought home a jar of oyster mushrooms to try.

This was a bottle of what appeared to be lemon soda, there was no English on the label at all. It tasted like when you suck on a lemonhead after you get past the sour shell and onto the sweet, slightly lemony middle.
